Professional Cooker Relocation
Relocating a cooker is more involved than simply lifting it and moving it across the room. Any movement of a gas cooker requires a Gas Safe registered engineer to disconnect the existing connection, extend or re-route the gas pipework to the new position, and reconnect safely. Electrical cookers require a Part P certified electrician to extend or redirect the wiring circuit.
At Instalify, we have Gas Safe registered and Part P certified engineers who handle both types of cooker relocation in a single visit. Whether you’re relocating your cooker a few feet or to a completely different wall, we’ll plan the safest, most efficient route for your gas or electrical connection and complete the work to the highest standard.
We also advise on ventilation requirements and any building regulation considerations for your new cooker position before we begin — so there are no surprises.
